Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using any BACKLIP application. By installing or using any of our apps, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using any application developed and distributed by BACKLIP (“BACKLIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including but not limited to apps available on Shopify, Wix, Ecwid, Cafe24, and Nuvemshop, you (“User,” “Merchant,” or “you”) unconditionally agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of all BACKLIP applications and uninstall them from your store or platform.
Continued use of any BACKLIP app constitutes full acceptance of these Terms, including all disclaimers and limitations of liability described herein.
Apps Provided “As Is”
All BACKLIP applications are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
BACKLIP expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of title or non-infringement
- Any warranty that the apps will meet your requirements or expectations
- Any warranty that the apps will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of any results obtained from using the apps
You assume all responsibility for selecting the appropriate app for your needs and for the installation, use, and results of that use.
No Liability — Full Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BACKLIP and its founders, team members, affiliates, partners, agents, and service providers shall bear absolutely no responsibility or liability for any harm, loss, or damage of any kind, arising out of or in connection with your use — or inability to use — any BACKLIP application.
This includes, without limitation, any:
Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or opportunity; damage to your store, website, or business operations; loss of sales or customers; damage caused by app conflicts, incompatibilities, or unexpected interactions; costs of substitute services or goods; or any other loss or damage of any nature, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory — even if BACKLIP has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We take zero responsibility. None. Under any circumstance.
In jurisdictions where the exclusion of certain damages is not permitted, BACKLIP’s liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law — and in any case, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to BACKLIP in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Bugs, Errors & Technical Issues
Software is inherently imperfect. BACKLIP does not warrant that its applications are free from bugs, defects, errors, malware, or other harmful components, nor that any such issues will be corrected.
BACKLIP is not liable for any damage caused by:
- Software bugs or coding errors in any BACKLIP application
- Unexpected behavior resulting from app updates or version changes
- Conflicts between BACKLIP apps and other third-party apps, plugins, or themes
- Performance degradation or slowdowns caused to your storefront
- Visual glitches, rendering issues, or broken layouts
- Failures caused by browser or device incompatibilities
- Any disruption resulting from maintenance, downtime, or technical failures
We always strive to improve our apps and address reported issues as promptly as reasonably possible. However, this commitment does not constitute a warranty or obligation under any legal theory.
Data, Security & Privacy
You acknowledge and agree that BACKLIP shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, data breach, loss, corruption, or theft of any data processed or transmitted through the use of BACKLIP applications.
This includes any damage arising from:
- Loss or corruption of store data, product data, or customer data
- Unauthorized access to your account or platform by third parties
- Security vulnerabilities beyond our reasonable control
- Any data transmitted to or stored by third-party platform providers (Shopify, Wix, etc.)
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your own accounts, credentials, and data backups. BACKLIP strongly encourages regular data backups independent of any application.
Third-Party Platforms
BACKLIP applications are designed to operate on third-party e-commerce platforms including Shopify, Wix, Ecwid, Cafe24, and Nuvemshop. BACKLIP has no control over these platforms, their policies, APIs, updates, or operational changes.
BACKLIP is not responsible for:
- Changes made by third-party platforms that break or alter the functionality of BACKLIP apps
- Platform outages, downtime, or service interruptions affecting app behavior
- Policy changes by any platform that restrict or remove BACKLIP app capabilities
- Any actions taken by platform providers regarding your store or account
- Compatibility issues introduced by platform updates without notice
Your use of BACKLIP apps is also subject to the respective terms of service of the platform on which you operate. BACKLIP is not a party to those agreements.
App Availability & Discontinuation
BACKLIP reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice or liability, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or remove any application or any feature thereof, temporarily or permanently, at any time.
BACKLIP shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of any app or service. You agree that BACKLIP will not be held responsible for any losses or damages caused by unavailability of the apps.
Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BACKLIP and its founders, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of any BACKLIP application
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Any content displayed on your store as a result of using our apps
- Any claims made by your customers or end users related to your use of our apps
Changes to These Terms
BACKLIP reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication. Your continued use of any BACKLIP application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. BACKLIP will not be held liable for any failure on your part to remain informed of updates to these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of BACKLIP applications shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, to which you irrevocably submit.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Please note that contacting us does not modify or waive any provision of these Terms, and does not create any obligation on the part of BACKLIP beyond what is expressly set out herein.
